France Telecom’s Orange has once again won top accolades in the latest YouGov mobile broadband comparison poll conducted recently. The survey is the sixth of its kind and is conducted by YouGov to assess the performance of mobile providers in the market in terms of many predetermined parameters. The poll is conducted every quarter and measures providers across a range of parameters such as value for money, easy use, coverage, quality of service, etc.

In the YouGov survey, Orange has topped in nine categories out of fifteen. The survey covered 4,000 broadband users over the period between 6th to 12th October this year. The provider was found to excel in categories like ease of use and value for money. The company attributes its success to new software that helps users monitor their monthly usage and control their internet expenditure by fixing monthly cap on the extra use billing.

Speaking about the achievement, the Director of Broadband and Home at Orange UK, Asif Aziz, expressed his happiness and reiterated the company’s commitment to bringing the best to customers in the future. In fact, the company has invested a substantial £4m in an advertising campaign underlining its customer friendly policy.

Orange also claims to be the top provider of mobile broadband services in Europe. This claim, however, is being disputed by 3, also a leading provider, the has gone so far as to file a formal complaint with the Advertising Standards Authority in this regard.

If you are not yet aware of the benefits of Mobile Broadband, a dedicated mobile broadband site is a good stop for a quick read-up on the recent bundle incentives being offered by the ISPs, where you can get a mobile broadband dongle, a fixed line connection and receive a free laptop at the same time.
